Evelyn Road, Claremont 2007

Designed for the architect's own family, this house is built on a tight 330m² subdivided infill site. The brief called for a large 340m² residence. Normal family accommodation was required but the house also had to incorporate a multi-function classic car display area and cellar. This was all achieved with-in a reasonably simple building form.

The house is orientated towards the large north facing courtyard and wraps around the accompanying swimming pool. Expansive floor to ceiling glazing re-enforce a strong indoor/ outdoor connection. High end finishes and detailing complement extensive custom cabinetwork, thus completing this residence to a very high standard.
