Gloster St, Subiaco

A substantial extension (for a growing young family), to an existing 1930’s house on a tight site. The site has an awkward southern orientation to the rear. The extension is planned around a central circulation spline incorporating minor rooms to the west. This enables major living spaces to be north facing around central courtyards.

The face brick and timber floors of the existing residence are referenced in the new extensions materials palette, whilst the building form provides a contemporary contrast. Completed, awaiting photography.
